Rise & Shine insights

Rise & Shine insights
So I woke this morning with the chorus of the rise and shine song playing in my head (not ready for the white self-love, self-hug jacket with the purple blingy buckles yet!😎)

Then I looked for the song in case on a rare chance someone didn't know what it was.  Some of the videos were annoying - gave me a praise that those weren't playing in my head, my voice was much better.  Lol.

However I liked this one. In listening to it verse and all I thought how appropriate for all of us.

"The Lord told Noah to get the children out of the muddy muddy"

We all do have "muddy muddy" daily in our lives and God gives us people known and unknown to help get us out of the mud.

The plan of action given is to "rise and shine and give God the glory glory" because we are "children of the Lord."

Some days it's so easy just to take the mud bath and pretend it's to enhance the beauty of our skin ... but we are still wallowing in mud when we don't have to and if we weren't wallowing in the dirt our skin would already be glowing from the beauty of the Lord shining through us.

There's always something to sing and give praise about in every situation. We have to choose to look, find it, claim it then give glory for it.

So my thought for today is we are to put on our mud boots, get out of the muck and irritate the crap out of everyone else who's wallowing in the mud by being sincerely joyful, giving God the glory that He loved us and desires us so much that He created us and put us here in this place for this specific time ... and mud.

Then I found this grown up version of the song and really like the words.

And wouldn’t you know …

I adore when God sends affirmations of what we are hearing and receiving!

So Creflo Dollar started his confessions time this morning with the rise and shine statement.  (Affirmation zing to the heart that I’m listening & hearing!)

I encourage you to watch and verbally speak out the declarations he says.
