Accountability Check up! Do your loved ones know & feel loved?

Click above image to watch my video that prompted this post.

Talk about casual comments hitting you where it matters most and causing an accountability moment!

Does this ever happen to you?

You are doing something nice for the people around you, doing your best to acommodate their likes ... and through conversation words of someone you care about ... or maybe you don't care about but the words strike a chord inside of you causing you to get to decide ... do I do an accountability check here or do I bury my head in the sand and not explore why/what the words stirred inside.

Well, this was one of those moments.

The Inside story: My husband is the only one in my immediate family that really likes onions in his food.  Thus, when cooking for my family I tend not to add extra onions or sometimes don't add onions at all to please the majority.

Well, this day, I was fixing taco meat at another person's home and I didn't have my normal spices ... (here's my resource page of favorites for the Kitchen ... specifically my family's all-time favorite Slap Ya MaMa All Natural Cajun Seasoning (go ahead and get some now, you'll thank yourself!).

This left me in a bit of a ponder because there really weren't ,,, gulp ... any spices I use in taco seasoning.  So i improvised and asked if the other people liked onion in their meat and got a hardy Yes.  So I fixed one skillet with onion mixed in to flavor it and then one skillet without onion and added a lot of prayers and love to help flavor because we were in a spice deficit, divided house.

Thankfully, they both turned out well and everyone was happy and content with full bellies.

And then the comment was heard ... "she only cooks with onions for other people".  It was said innocently and to let the others know they were special ... but the simple statement from my earthly heartthrob, caused a check in my inner spirit.

And now ... you know the rest of the story (yes, I listened to Paul Harvey growing up!) that prompted my video posted above.

What checks in your spirit do you experience?

I'd adore hearing your experiences as I truly want to live my best me and head off any regrets or innocent omissions so like learning from others too.

(Yes, after 25 years of marriage ... I'm still finding out foods that my husband likes that I never knew and thus never fixed for him ... proof that there's always new things to learn and discover!)

As always ... I'm passionate about Standing The Gap from where you are to where you can and want to be!

Be Blessed!

What smells instantly take you back to a happy place?!?!

What smells instantly take you back to a happy place?!?!
Our minds are so powerful.  Be honest now, did you smell the snickerdoodles when you saw the above picture?

Can you smell the Cinnamon? Can you smell the Nutmeg? Can you smell the Stress Away? Yikes! Probably not but you can probably feel the "stress away" with the happy memories!

I can smell it and have happy emotions released instantly because it triggers happy memories of family celebrations and special times with my mom.

Snickerdoodles were a favorite of my parents and one of my grandpa's. But I must be honest ... I only like the SMELL of snickerdoodles, I really do NOT like the TASTE.

Which makes me smile with memories of trying to eat them and like them when I was little out my love and desire to be like the ones I love so much.

Who knows, maybe that's where all my elaborate facial expressions that my family gets a kick out of watching started!  (Can you relate with a smell you like but don't like the taste or texture?)

Our minds are so powerful that we don't have to have the cookies baking in our home or even have the actual cookie in our home to taste or smell it.

A powerful exercise I do in one of my sessions is to have you close your eyes and visualize a lemon, then I walk you through the process of feeling the texture of the skin, smelling the lemon when its cut open and squeezed and then actually tasting the lemon.

I always have so much fun watching your faces as I can tell who likes the smell and taste of lemon and who does not from the uniquely different expressions.

The science studies done on our olfactory senses or sense of smell extensively document the impact smell has in and on our lives.

It helps to explain why my client sessions where we are breaking blocks from the past to move forward in freedom are effective and long lasting.

This is why essential oils are an important tool in my Healthy Toolbox for myself, my family and my clients.

I keep a diffuser in my main living area (we each have one in our individual rooms too!) with a beautiful display rack of essential oils to be able to create unique blends or blends that transport me to Happy Memories or get me energized and motivated (or my loved ones when its chore day! LOL)

Some people have a recipe box filled with favorite cooking recipes ... me, I have recipe BOXES of my family's favorite diffuser blends with memories noted to go with them.  Quirky? Yes.

However, on those days where I need an extra boost or I just want to have some sweet memories of my mom or a walk in the forest ... well, diffusing can take me to higher levels and fill my heart and being.

Bonus effect is, at least when you are using the brand I use, there are no toxic chemicals to cause adverse side effects or harm to our bodies AND they actually have a synergy effect in our body thus supporting and improving our health physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

This simple act of diffusing is very effective and supportive to my clients who are walking through intense health challenges, or those who are breaking free from addictions and the benefits and list goes on.

The main core of my practice uses essences to break through the barriers and assist in resetting cellular DNA and memory patterns to aid in creating a healthy fight or flight for your life by releasing the things of the past that no longer suit who you are in such a time as this.

I adore getting to be the facilitator and watching the transformations.  It blesses me to my core to help you break free from things that have held you in bondage and kept you from living life freely as you desire and yearn to.

And that is why I adore sharing some of my different diffuser recipes that trigger happy memories or that get me motivated to Be my Greatest Me!

So what is your favorite smell that takes you back to a happy place or time in your life?

Share below, I adore trying new recipes!

Gratitude & Dump - I AM day in the Garden For Such a Time As This

Gratitude & Dump - I AM day in the Garden For Such a Time As This

Today my Gratitude and Dump session became an I AM session.   For those that know me, you know that was a stretch for me.  The joy of feeling and seeing my faith and belief growth just from my I AM statements that were written with confidence. Years of the enemy’s bondages have been broken in my life and I get to use my experience, knowledge and understanding of blessing of Freedom to help other others be delivered into their Freedom too.  My heart is full and overflowing with joy, love, and hope.

Anointing oils for today include Peace & Calming, Pine, Citronella, Peppermint, Eucalyptus Globulus, Trauma Life and Patchouli.   I smelled them individually as I put them in the diffuser and applied to my body where I was led.  Some of them, well, I didn’t take such a deep breath of.   Others, oh my yum. However, as is always the case … with all of these in my ionic diffuser, the essence touches me from the top of my head all the way down to the bottoms of my feet and tips of my toes.  I can feel the renewal and rejuvenation of my cells and inner being.  I want to sit and savor the feeling while also being energized and excited to do what I am to do today.  What a great, positive feeling.  I am so grateful and highly favored and blessed with the life calling I was created for.  In walking and living it, every day is a glorious day, even those growth spurts that sometimes bring the groans and moans of praise.

So, here’s the negative that the World is trying to burden and hold me down with:

Addiction, Argumentiveness, Being a Victim, Depression, Indecisiveness, Control, Moodiness, Scared, Wishy washy, Failure, Fear of Dependence, Restriction, Rigidity, Bondage, Panic, Shut down.

Glory to Glory, here’s the positive that I am being grown and expanded to new levels in:

Freedom, Wanted, Loveable, Peace, Fair, Inner strength, Alive, Focus, Clarity, Balance, Content, Blessed, Stable, Safe, Still, Direction, Unfoldment, Identity, Growth, Mobility, Open to New, Amusement, See big picture, Like self, Tranquility, Creative, Vibrantly Alive.

I am ever grateful for the tools I have learned and am continually learning to build up and edify my ability to walk in my greatest good for me at this time.  As always, my special Garden of Eden that these essential oil tools form For my Such A Time As This uplift, encourage and motivate me to stand boldly and courageously doing what my day holds.  Having the awareness of the enemy’s plans of bondage empower me to see it when its coming and immediately bind the negative and walk in the positive to grow and expand to new levels each moment of my day.

Here's a few of my Dump Session I AM's:

I am capable.

I am worthy.

I am loved.

I am redeemed.

I am blessed.

I am highly favored.

For me … It is an amazing I AM day today!!!

So, what tool or tools are you pulling out to do maintenance and fortify you For your Such A Time As This day today?

I adore it when you share. It allows me to celebrate with you, encourage you and cover with thanksgiving and praise as you do you to a new level.

I am ever passionate about Standing The Gap from where you are to where you can and want to be.  (Trust me, it is the sweetest place to be.)

Be Blessed!

Gratitude & Dumping

Gratitude & Dumping

I shared this in my special encouragement and accountability group that I have.  However, I am being led to share it here too for those of you who are not a part of my special group yet but need to hear this today.  (Here's the link to join my special group https://www.facebook.com/groups/2455814451326832

Every day is started with gratitude often before I even open my eyes for the first time.  I totally enjoy selecting 3 different things each day that I am grateful for that are different from the past days.  It helps set my day on a gratitude journey and atmosphere.

Then I randomly select my anointing oils for the day and anoint myself and fill my diffuser.

Next, I  take my daily "Dump".  I originally started with the goal of 3 written pages or 30 minutes of writing whatever is on my heart and mind or comes up in my thoughts.  Now, I generally have more than 3 pages and often times ... gasp ... go over my 30 allotted minutes.  However, most days I implement the rule that I had when I was schooling my sons ... to stop while you are still eager and wanting to do more.  This causes anticipation and looking forward to tomorrow's "Dump" session.

And finally, after I'm done with my "Dump" session ... I do the research to see what emotional, mental and spiritual mindset shift areas I'm being grown and stretched in.

Today, here's the negative mindsets that are being overcome:
Not enough, poor, scarcity, struggle, worry, being less than, not good enough, tired, flustured, loss, illusion, malice, repressed emotions, stuffed emotions, resistance to change, taken for granted, and shut down.

And here are the positive mindset shifts that I am being stretched and expanded to new levels in:
Plenty; ask, believe & receive, clarity, supported, abundance, depth of understand, sharing, i am spot on, acceptance, expressing my best, rejuvenated, renewed, present, gain, benevolence, protected, speaking out, wanted, lovable, steady, learn from life, honored, creative, and vibrantly alive.

Wow!  That totally gets me going and looking forward to charging through whatever comes my way today with a boldness and confidence.

There's more that I do to uplift and edify myself to do what I'm called and passionate about doing ... but I am excited to get going so I'll just put those to share on another day.

Here's your PONDER POINT:
What are you doing to build yourself up and empower yourself to be the best you, you were created to be?

Share in the comments below, I adores hearing from you.

Breaking the bondages and Choosing Joy and Freedom in my affirmation today!

Breaking the bondages and Choosing Joy and Freedom in my affirmation today!

Today's inspiration comes from Psalm 30 (NCV)

Thanksgiving for Escaping Death

A psalm of David. A song for giving the Temple to the Lord.

I will praise you, Lord,

    because you rescued me.

You did not let my enemies laugh at me.
Lord, my God, I prayed to you,

    and you healed me.
You lifted me out of the grave;

you spared me from going down to the place of the dead.

Sing praises to the Lord, you who belong to him;

    praise his holy name.
His anger lasts only a moment,

but his kindness lasts for a lifetime.
Crying may last for a night,

but joy comes in the morning.

When I felt safe, I said,

    “I will never fear.”
Lord, in your kindness you made my mountain safe.

But when you turned away, I was frightened.

I called to you, Lord,

and asked you to have mercy on me.
I said, “What good will it do if I die

or if I go down to the grave?
Dust cannot praise you;

it cannot speak about your truth.
Lord, hear me and have mercy on me.

    Lord, help me.”

You changed my sorrow into dancing.

You took away my clothes of sadness,

    and clothed me in happiness.
I will sing to you and not be silent.

Lord, my God, I will praise you forever.

I don’t know about you but I know in my past, I have reverted to the toddler phase, the “do it myself” phase, and ended in places and situations I was never intended to be in.

Other times, I have come into agreement or allowed others to force their expectations and identities on me. I have been miserable working hard to succeed at always failing them and never measuring up no matter how hard I try because once I come near to meeting expectations the requirements are raised.

No matter what or how I got into the situation … it is written in the Word that God rescued David from death … thus God can and will rescue me from my current situation and from my past.

David prayed for healing and got it.  That means any healing I want and need – mental, physical, emotional, and/or spiritual – is mine.  I just must believe, repent, and receive.

That makes me want to shout and sing praises, to dance. It makes me walk with pep in my step.

My God loves me despite what I have done. When I ask forgiveness and forgive myself, my past choices are gone forever! Forgotten as though they never existed to Him.  I must confess the same forgiveness over myself when I turn from my past.

Oh the freedom and joy that overflows when I break the bondage of my past and choose to walk in my Light, my calling, my freedom to be who I was created to be before the beginning of time.

When I am aligned and centered with God, I am in my safe place with no worry or fear.  When I stray outside of God’s calling on my life … fear, doubt, worry, and so much more heaviness and misery enter that were never a part of my greater good.

This is an alert to break the bondages that I have come in agreement with.  To ask forgiveness and forgive myself for “doing it my way” and realign.

With great freedom and joy, I proclaim this affirmation over me.  I say it is so.  I believe it and receive it.
