What favor we have to live and walk daily in The blessed life that has already been planned for us.

About a week ago, on an evening that Randy and I were absolutely whole body spent, we were Divinely connected with a couple who were out and about and sitting in a booth katty whompus (yip one of my creative definitive words for across the way and up a bit 🤭🤗) from us.

Proof that what you wear impacts ... Randy’s small “heart donor” patch on his leather vest lower little pocket opened the door for a conversation that started with a gentleman saying, “I am too!”  In other words, something little and not a huge blaring thing opened the door to connect our lives to unknown opportunities and ripples in the world.

This past week has been a challenging, growing and greatly giving week to the point of not knowing if we’d be physically able to ride.  However, with declarations and standing on that spoken authority, that patch conversation extended into a ride this weekend.

The ride fed a hungry yearning  of my spirit through being out absorbing the beauty of God’s creation and ability to just BE while in the midst of others, meandering  around, eating yummy food, listening to others use their musical talents, conversation, game playing and ultimate fellowship of the Spirit.  Without that Divine meeting we would have most likely yielded to flesh and stayed home instead of pushing ourselves - and oh what blessings and joy we would have missed.

The renewing day fellowship was brought to a close by the prompting to get home before we got drenched in a storm that was blowing in.  With confidence we headed out expecting to stay safe and mostly dry.  (Yes, we should have stood for staying completely dry but we let our flesh open the door to a bit of allowance for some wet. We’re humans in eternal growth mode! )

It was very faith building to be sitting at a stop light watching the rain blow literal sheets of rain across the lanes on the ascending traffic, while our lane was just getting some light sprinkles.  Made me sit up taller with the affirmation that we do have spoken authority over things with a name.  And that I am loved and walk in His favor.

Then came a couple blocks of rain that only got my right T-shirt sleeve wet and not my right leg nor other side of my body.  (Note: the rain was coming straight down and not blowing from our right side.)  Yet another physical showing of His power in even the smallest things.

I gave praise in the confidence that all was well even as we drove in to wet roads with no rain on our side then to totally dry roads.  Just before we hit the dry road portion the back wheel slid losing traction on the wet painted portion of the road.  How like life is that?!?!

Yip! Yet another life lesson coming ... Just as our Heavenly Father has us, my husband had us by totally responding naturally to correct the situation without even noticing that it had happened.  He was so confident and focused on getting us home safely that he did what he has been training and building experience to do to get us successfully home.  He didn’t even realize we’d slid until I complimented him on handling it so well.

So my ponder point ...

Where’s your focus and your daily training going into?

Is it a positive focus to give you life building abilities?

Or are you focusing on negative, binding, life blocking and destructive behavior?

It is written:

In Prov 23:7, “For as he thinks in his heart, so ishe.”

You get to choose what you are thinking ... no one else has the authority.

So what are you choosing to focus on today and open the doors or manifest in your life today?

Is it life giving?
Or
Is it life blocking and taking?

(Enjoy some of the scenery of the day! We rode the Turquoise Trail to Madrid.)
