So what are you marking?
Why are you marking it?
How are you marking it?
Inquiring minds want to know!
I want to know.
Question: Have you ever been in a place or around people where you were uncomfortable? Do you avoid crowds or specific places or events?
Last week In our Thursday Prayer group, Bob brought up the gift if discernment.
This morning I get this insight:
I believe we all have it in some degree. The places or events that make you uncomfortable are often because of discernment that you have that the enemy attacks because you don’t recognize you have the gift of discernment, don’t know how to walk in the gift of discernment or need to physically and emotionally strengthen yourself to be better able to walk in and grow in the gift of discernment.
Jennifer Eivaz brought up some interesting information in her sharing her experience with the gift as a new believer who was unaware of it.
Here’s a link if you want to listen:
In the past I did sessions with spoken affirmations to build ourselves mentally and emotionally. Thinking I am going to be walking through then again with myself as a wellness check. Let me know if you want to join in with me.
I adore how God brings things into our awareness when we don’t value or put feet to the insights He gives us of steps to take in the stillness of our time with Him.
Oh how much further we would be in our growth if we got it and took action immediately in the spiritual realm instead of having to go through the emotional then mental to get to the final physical realm of “get it or be done”.
Blessings to you!
So I woke this morning with the chorus of the rise and shine song playing in my head (not ready for the white self-love, self-hug jacket with the purple blingy buckles yet!😎)
Then I looked for the song in case on a rare chance someone didn't know what it was. Some of the videos were annoying - gave me a praise that those weren't playing in my head, my voice was much better. Lol.
However I liked this one. In listening to it verse and all I thought how appropriate for all of us.
"The Lord told Noah to get the children out of the muddy muddy"
We all do have "muddy muddy" daily in our lives and God gives us people known and unknown to help get us out of the mud.
The plan of action given is to "rise and shine and give God the glory glory" because we are "children of the Lord."
Some days it's so easy just to take the mud bath and pretend it's to enhance the beauty of our skin ... but we are still wallowing in mud when we don't have to and if we weren't wallowing in the dirt our skin would already be glowing from the beauty of the Lord shining through us.
There's always something to sing and give praise about in every situation. We have to choose to look, find it, claim it then give glory for it.
So my thought for today is we are to put on our mud boots, get out of the muck and irritate the crap out of everyone else who's wallowing in the mud by being sincerely joyful, giving God the glory that He loved us and desires us so much that He created us and put us here in this place for this specific time ... and mud.
Then I found this grown up version of the song and really like the words.
And wouldn’t you know …
I adore when God sends affirmations of what we are hearing and receiving!
So Creflo Dollar started his confessions time this morning with the rise and shine statement. (Affirmation zing to the heart that I’m listening & hearing!)
I encourage you to watch and verbally speak out the declarations he says.
